Following a recent breakfast briefing the following important changes to the
Business Support Scheme were announced:
Eligibility is currently restricted to those businesses engaged in the Industrial/Manufacturing sector & to all sectors for those wishing to have a Quality or Environmental Project.
Eligibility is now extended to all business sectors for projects in an e-business discipline, provided the project will enable the organisation to become engaged in the supply, from within the island, of any service to any person's who are;
- outside the island
- carry on a business outside the island; or
- are usually resident outside the island
(It should be noted that an-business project must enable a company to undertake or enhance their on-line transactions capabilities)
