A custom .Net desktop application was developed using the latest Infragistics tools and controls to provide the client with a easy to use and intuitive interface. Extra functionality was added to allow subsets of the data to be search and filtered as required or exported to Microsoft Excel at the touch of a button.
Conversion routines were written to migrate the data from the old VB 6 flat files to a SQL Server 2005, to ensure no data lose.
